WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME?
It’s a game where you have to escape from a locked room full of logic puzzles. Consider it part scavenger hunt and part puzzle-solving mystery! The catch is that you only have one hour on the clock to make your escape…
WHERE IS MISSION ESCAPE GAMES LOCATED?
Our Manhattan location is at 55 Chrystie Street, Suite 106. The building is on Chrystie Street, between Canal and Hester Street, on the Lower East Side right by the Manhattan Bridge.
Our Queens location is at 134-26 Northern Boulevard. The entrance is on Northern Blvd between Prince St and College Point Blvd.
WHAT DOES A PUBLIC ESCAPE GAME MEAN? WHAT IS A PRIVATE ESCAPE GAME?
A public escape game means you may be working with people you don’t know, so you can make some new friends. Everyone who books into a public game on the same timeslot will become one team; you’re not competing. If you only want to play with your group in a public escape game, simply click the “private event” option and it will reserve all the slots for you.
A private escape game means the only people in the game are the team that you bring with you. It requires reserving all the slots in the game, and you can bring a team up to the designated maximum capacity of the room.
WHAT IF I WANT THE GAME TO MYSELF?
If you do not want to make new friends with other players, please book for a private game. Click the private game/event option and purchase all the tickets in that specific timeslot. If all of them are not available, it will not be a private game.
WHAT IF I DON’T ESCAPE? AM I LOCKED IN FOREVER?
If you don’t make it out, you become a part of our game… Just kidding! Our staff will come in, explain how to solve the remaining puzzles so you’re not left hanging and then you’re free!
HOW LONG IS THE GAME?
The game itself is 60 minutes. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before your mission starts, and allot for an extra 15 minutes after just in case there are any questions, you want to take pictures, etc. In short, prepare for about 90 minutes!

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST SUBWAY STATION?
The closest subway station for the Manhattan location is Grand St. on the B/D lines. There is also East Broadway on the F line, Canal St. on the R/N/Q/W/6 lines, and Bowery station on the J/M/Z lines.
For the Queens location, please take the 7 train to the Flushing station. Each subway station is approximately 5-10 minutes away.
I’M NOT A SUBWAY PERSON…CAN I DRIVE? HOW’S THE PARKING?
There are several paid parking garages in the area and there’s street parking available too. We do not provide parking.
HOW MUCH IS A TICKET?
The price varies by game and location. Please choose the game that you are interested in and how many players you will be bringing, and the price will automatically update for you.
HOW DO I BOOK MY SPOT?
You can make your reservation on our Book Game page after choosing which mission you want to challenge. Or give us a call at 347-903-8860 and we’d be glad to help you!
DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
If you don’t have a reservation, there might not be a spot for you to play! It’s always safer to reserve in advance but if you would like to play the same day, please call us to check the availability.
ARE WALK-INS ALLOWED?
Please call to check if there’s availability! We don’t want you to waste a trip by walking in and finding there’s no availability. It’s much safer to make a reservation in advance.

ARE THE MISSIONS SCARY?
Most of our rooms are neutral-themed and okay for all ages! The only one designed to be scary is Escape the Darkest Hour, which is our horror-themed room played in the dark with flashlights.
WHAT IF I WANT TO BRING CHILDREN?
Not a problem! Ages 12 and above are recommended. Any players younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
ONLY A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS AGREED TO GET LOCKED IN WITH ME. CAN WE STILL ESCAPE?
Yes you can! You’ll have to cover more ground. You would be making new friends with the other people who booked into the same game to make your escape if you booked a public game.
I MADE A RESERVATION FOR MY GROUP OF FRIENDS BUT WE HAVE ANOTHER PERSON WHO WANTED TO JOIN LAST MINUTE. CAN THEY JUST COME IN WITH US?
Please give us a call and check if there are any openings so an extra ticket can be purchased! We’ll do our best to accommodate your group.
WHAT IF I HAVE A LARGE GROUP? DO YOU DO GROUP EVENTS?
Yes we do! Your large group may need more than one mission. Using all four missions simultaneously, the capacity can go up to approximately forty. If you’re interested in a group/corporate event, feel free to send us an email inquiry or call us!
WHEN SHOULD WE PLAN TO ARRIVE?
Please arrive and check in at our front desk 15 minutes before your game officially starts. That way you have time to use the restroom, we can explain the mission and answer any questions before you start.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M RUNNING LATE?
We have a five-minute grace period! But after five minutes, the game clock will start and you will play with less time. If you arrive after 15 minutes of the game clock starting, you’ll have missed too much and will no longer be allowed to enter.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Whatever you feel comfortable walking around in! You’ll be moving around as you look for your clues.
DO YOU HOST BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
Of course! We’d love to celebrate with you! If you’re looking to do something special for the party, let us know what you have in mind and we’ll do what we can to accommodate it!
DO YOU DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR CHILDREN?
We recommend participants be older than 10 years old, as the games may be too challenging for younger participants. An adult must accompany any players younger than 18 years old.
DO YOU HOST BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTIES?
We’ve hosted hundreds of bachelor/bachelorette parties to date! An escape game is a great way to bond with your friends and family before the big day. If there’s something special you would like to do for the party, let us know what you have in mind!
AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES/VIDEO?
Sorry but no one likes spoilers! We don’t want any secrets to leak out so there are no pictures/video/social media/etc allowed inside the rooms. You’re welcome to take pictures in the waiting room though with our props!
